Eric Hartman is looking for people to work on a Quake 2 TC:

Positions: Programmers, animators, 2d artists, 3d artists/modelers, skinners, texture artists

I am doing a conversion modification for quake 2. I'm looking to fill these positions shortly. The name of the mod is TOE, Tears Of Eigarn. If you think you know what you are doing, send a request and samples to Kyrandos@hotmail.com.

The jobs are NON PROFIT, that means you will not get paid for your work, but you will get plenty of credit. You will get your own page on the web site telling the users how you helped out and how to contact you. Perfect for future jobs.

Quake Army Knife (QuArK) version 5.10 is released! QuArK is an extremely powerful, open-source map editor and multi-function utility for editing most Quake engine games. QuArK users can add new features by writing plug-ins in the python scriping language or even by modifying the Delphi Pascal source code. QuArK is a Windows application, but it should also run in the Wine windows emulator on Linux.

Siu-hang has written a tutorial for using the Crystal Space MazeD editor. It has many large images, so if you want to download the tutorial and read it offline there is also a zipped version.

There is a new Crystal Space beta (version 0.13 release 12). Crystal Space is an open source 3D engine that supports many operating systems and types of graphics hardware.

Armin Rigo is looking for someone to help port the open source Quake Army Knife (QuArK) editor to Linux. The core of QuArK is written in Delphi pascal which needs to be converted to C++ and X windows for Linux, but much of QuArK is actually written in platform independent Python!

The Crystal Space CVS server has a new URL. For anonymous read-only access connect to anonymous@ren.dreampark3d.com:/usr/cvs with the password 'anonymous' and check out the 'crystal' module.

Quake Army Knife (QuArK) beta 5.10 is now available for testing. It should have much better SiN support and precision when dragging vertices.
